So the scene where she finds out why she was occasionally called Anna Elizabeth? And why the Sandovals were so tolerant of their shenanigans? And that really poignant little thing about the first time his dad saw the two of them together, on the brink of another fist fight, angry and sad and confused, and he turned around and stood in front of her? That scene? The one that loosed a few hungover tears?
Doesn't want to be written.
*flounces back to Eren/Catori/Asher*
However, it WAS confirmed to me that the truth about her dad will leak eventually, possibly after he's caught hurting some other little girl with an uncanny resemblance to AJ (step daughter?) and there is a board meltdown.
Taylor: Ceding field to Jessie.
Brian: Not touching this one.
Ben: Not allowed to touch this one.
Sam: Wouldn't go near this with a 30 foot pole.
Jessie: If I--and shit, my DAD--had to sit and WATCH the whole fucking time and never got to kill him, the rest of you can fucking sit back and grind your teeth into dust too.
AJ: ...Guuuuyyysss.
[rabble rabble!]
Jessie: For the record, for all that she is our cute little rockstar and we love her dearly and go to sleep with sweet homicidal dreams, she is not helpless. She does not need validation and hugs and talk shows or however the fuck people do their public come-to-reality sessions lately. She needs a microphone, a good accompaniment, and not to be tempted to practice that really nasty left hook she has. He never hurt her because he COULDN'T, because she could defend herself. She's OKAY. She is not a victim. Don't treat her like one. For the love of god and my photogenic face don't treat her like one, because then she'll definitely practice that left hook and it's gonna hurt--and that was not intended to make her sound crazy. Now please quit lurking over my shoulder, AJ, and go write your own damn posts.
Jessie: OH WAIT YOU CAN'T LOL.
[rabble?]
Taylor: Sounds about right.
Brian: And also for the record, the reason she's gone radio silent is because her laptop's wifi card and the power cord to her desktop have been stolen until she finishes polishing about thirty pages of music.
Taylor: We might have to hold them longer if she's hijacking Jessie.
Brian: Nah, that was inevitable, and it won't last for long. Needed to be said, anyway.

Becoming more and more interested in the process of writing and editing instead of just dabbling around. Could end well.
