I did the whole 'Hinder' side story. So I haven't been completely dead! And there are (2783; 117,250) words in Ambi that are new. (1733; 218,328) in SAO. Dabbling, really; it's appalling. The side story is 5967 words and I really like it. Third person and much, much leaner than the usual SAO-style narrative. It's almost entirely carried by narrative. I'm not against incorporating it into canon, but the ending will have to change. It's too easy and bothers me. Stupid impatient muses.

I need more variety. My characters are all archetypes and my diction is starting to sound stale to me. Not sure what that means. Time to stretch?
