(After moved in) JD adopts collie and wants to name her Lassie for the lolz. That she is arthritic makes it funnier, he says. Megan hates stereotypical pet names (do not ever name a Beagle some variant of "bud" around her) and resists vehemently, leading to an actual fight, stand offs, sleeping alone, and passive aggressive custody wars over the "kids." Megan wants to name her Barbara, Babs, Selena, Cass, Harley, Ivy, something to match her canine Batman theme. Megan ends up calling Riley and asking about her stupidest fight, and Riley advises to give it up and use it for leverage in the next one. Megan does, since she's his dog anyway.
One of the stand offs ends up with a staring contest that involves JD getting a facial muscle twitch and Megan growling curses shortly before locking herself in her room.
Sleep deprivation is involved.
