After hurriedly fixing my erroneous time lines, I went ahead and did 1128 unaccounted for words in a new little scene. And it is actually a better idea than what I had, as my moments of spontaneity usually are, but still. This is why I don't usually work with time lines! I NEVER FOLLOW THEM ANYWAY.
For the sake of this whole thing, I should probably quit adhering to them and just relegate them to 'suggestion' or 'guideline.' Bah.
